Welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m Dr. Derrell Blackburn, DC, MBA—a results-driven entrepreneur, educator, and thought leader with a passion for empowering individuals and organizations to achieve their fullest potential. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats: successful entrepreneur, visionary leader, operational strategist, and now, an educator and consultant committed to making a difference.

 

With over a decade of experience, I’ve honed my skills in business operations, strategic planning, and people management. As a multi-time founder and franchise partner, I’ve led thriving businesses, including launching a private practice, three franchised practices and managing the development of franchised chiropractic sites across the country, and creating multiple successful privately owned health food establishments in California. My expertise in building and scaling organizations has not only delivered multimillion-dollar revenue but also cultivated meaningful relationships and a collaborative culture.

 

In my roles, I’ve consistently demonstrated a knack for adaptive leadership and fostering innovation. From mentoring emerging professionals to collaborating with cross-functional teams, I thrive on developing systems that drive growth, efficiency, and, most importantly, impact. My entrepreneurial journey has taught me the value of resilience, creativity, and the power of a people-centered approach to leadership.

 

Today, I combine my entrepreneurial insights with my passion for education as an assistant professor and consultant. Whether it’s guiding students in hybrid postgraduate programs, speaking at conferences, or partnering with organizations to develop customized solutions, my mission remains clear: to inspire action, create value, and transform potential into achievement.
